docs get started

Start here

Make a first request, then open candidate sourcing, outreach, the API reference, or MCP setup.

RecruitMCP is recruitment data over a REST API or MCP. Search candidates, fetch profiles and contact details, and run outreach. MCP and REST share one implementation.

Start here

  1. Quickstart — API key, a place lookup, and a search plan that waits for confirm.
  2. Authentication — API keys, OAuth for MCP clients, and scopes.
  3. Make a first request. The call below is free. It returns a plan and an estimate and stores nothing.
curl -sS -X POST 'https://api.recruitmcp.com/v1/runs?dry_run=true' \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $RECRUITMCP_KEY" \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' \
-d '{"job_description":"Senior backend engineer in Ghent, Belgium. Go, 5+ years.","target":40}'

Drop dry_run and add an Idempotency-Key header when you want the run to start.

Recruitment capabilities

  • Candidate sourcing — job text to a shortlist. Facts only: distance, experience, tenure, title, and company. There is no fit score.
  • People and contacts — full profiles and contact details, priced when something is found.
  • Outreach — accounts, sequences, enrollments, and conversations.
